MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES
In 2007 a recruitment campaign was undertaken with the designing of a poster which was distributed to 80,000 homes as an insert in the Northern area Sun Community Newspaper. Runaway Bay RSL Sub Branch and Oxenford/Coomera RSL Sub Branch (now North Gold Coast) received numerous enquiries which resulted in several new members for both Sub Branches.
Other Sub Branches also received numerous enquiries.
In 2009, the District has funded the printing of 10,000 bifold business cards (an initiative suggested by former District Councillor, Mr Barrie Miller) for distribution by members as required.
